Andrew Tate's height: 6′3″ on fight cards

Andrew Tate is listed at 190.5 cm (6′3″), a figure that comes from his years as a professional kickboxer, when promotions printed fighter heights on posters and broadcast graphics. The English Wikipedia infobox attributes the figure to kickboxing outlets including MuayThaiTV and the Romanian promotion RXF, and it matched the tale of the tape for his most recent bout, a boxing match in December 2025. The 191 cm that appears on some cards is simply the same 6′3″ rounded to the nearest centimeter.

Combat sports are one of the better places to look for a reliable height for a public figure. Fight promotions publish height, reach and weigh-in weight because bettors, commentators and opponents all care about them, and those numbers are printed on the same graphic as the opponent's, which makes inflation easy to spot. Tate's 6′3″ has been stable across the sources we found, from his kickboxing years through 2025.

A tall fighter in kickboxing's middle divisions

Tate began kickboxing in 2005 under the nickname "King Cobra" and, between 2011 and 2014, became a four-time world champion. His three ISKA full-contact world titles came at light heavyweight and light cruiserweight, and he added an Enfusion world title under K-1 rules. He retired from competition in 2016.

Those divisions are useful context for his height. Light heavyweight and light cruiserweight sit in the middle of the kickboxing weight scale, below cruiserweight and heavyweight. A man standing 6′3″ who competes there is usually long and lean for his class, and that build tends to suit a range-based style: a long jab, a front kick (teep) to keep opponents at distance, and high kicks that shorter fighters have to work harder to reach. In general, when two kickboxers of equal weight meet, the taller one typically has the longer limbs and therefore the greater reach, and it is the shorter fighter who has to close the distance.

His brother, Tristan Tate, also fought professionally and twice won the ISKA British light cruiserweight title before a shoulder injury ended his career, according to Wikipedia, which gives his record as 43–9. The brothers therefore fought in overlapping weight ranges, but we have not found a well-sourced official height for Tristan, so we do not compare the two in centimeters.

Weight and frame

The only recent weigh-in figure available is 199.5 lb (90 kg) for the 2025 boxing match. At 190.5 cm that is a body mass index of about 24.9, near the top of the conventional "normal" band, which for a trained athlete mostly reflects muscle. His kickboxing title weights were lower than that, as fighters typically compete lighter in kickboxing and often weigh more after retiring from regular competition.

The 2025 boxing match: Tate vs Chase DeMoor

After years of speculation about a comeback, which Bloody Elbow reported he confirmed publicly in 2024, Tate made his professional boxing debut against Chase DeMoor on December 20, 2025, at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium. The bout was for the MFB heavyweight title.

Andrew Tate Chase DeMoor
Height 6′3″ (191 cm) 6′5″ (196 cm)
Weight 199.5 lb (90 kg) 200 lb (91 kg)
Result Lost Won by majority decision
Scorecards 57–57, 58–56, 58–56

The fight is notable for height comparisons because it is one of the few times Tate competed against an opponent taller than him by a clear margin. DeMoor, a former American football player, had about 5 cm (2 inches) on him. That reversed the usual dynamic of Tate's kickboxing career, where at 6′3″ he was more often the taller man in the ring. DeMoor took two of the three judges' cards; the third scored the bout a draw.

Andrew Tate next to other fighters and influencers

Because Tate's fame grew through online content as much as through his fighting, his height is often compared with other fighters-turned-influencers and with combat-sports figures. The figures below come from this site's data, except for DeMoor, whose height comes from the tale of the tape above.

Person Height Difference vs Tate
Chase DeMoor 196 cm (6′5″) +5.5 cm
Dwayne Johnson 195.6 cm (6′5″) +5.1 cm
Andrew Tate 190.5 cm (6′3″) —
Donald Trump 190.5 cm (6′3″) 0 cm
Logan Paul 188 cm (6′2″) −2.5 cm
Elon Musk 188 cm (6′2″) −2.5 cm
Jake Paul 183 cm (6′0″) −7.5 cm
Mike Tyson 179 cm (5′10½″) −11.5 cm
KSI 178 cm (5′10″) −12.5 cm
Conor McGregor 175 cm (5′9″) −15.5 cm
Joe Rogan 172.7 cm (5′8″) −17.8 cm

These are comparisons of scale, not of fighting ability. Weight class, reach and experience matter far more than height in a real contest; Mike Tyson won the undisputed heavyweight championship despite being shorter than most heavyweights of his era. What the table does show is that Tate is tall among the influencer-boxers who have dominated crossover events since the late 2010s. Most of them, including Jake Paul and KSI, are several inches shorter.

How Tate's height compares with heavyweight boxers

The DeMoor bout was contested at heavyweight, the division with no upper weight limit, so it is also worth setting Tate against the real champions of that class. Using this site's data, Tyson Fury stands 206 cm (6′9″), Anthony Joshua 198 cm (6′6″) and Oleksandr Usyk 191 cm (6′3″). Tate is therefore almost exactly the same height as Usyk, who unified the heavyweight titles after moving up from cruiserweight, and around 15 cm shorter than Fury. In mixed martial arts, Jon Jones, listed on this site at 192 cm, is a similar comparison: a fighter of Tate's height who built his career in the light heavyweight class before moving up.

That is the more meaningful way to read Tate's 6′3″. At light heavyweight and light cruiserweight in kickboxing, it made him tall for his division. At heavyweight, it is roughly average for a modern champion and well short of the giants of the class.

How fight promotions measure and list height

Readers sometimes assume that every height on a fight poster was measured that week. In practice, practices vary by sport and promotion:

  • Official weigh-ins record weight, usually the day before the fight, because weight is what the rules regulate. Height is not a regulated attribute in kickboxing or boxing, so it is not always remeasured.
  • Tale-of-the-tape graphics typically draw on a fighter's registered profile or on information supplied by the fighter's team, sometimes measured at a pre-fight medical, sometimes carried over from earlier events.
  • Reach, the fingertip-to-fingertip span with arms outstretched, is measured less often than height and is frequently missing from cards, as it was for both Tate and DeMoor in 2025.

That is why the consistency of Tate's 6′3″ across a decade of kickboxing cards and a 2025 boxing card is the most persuasive evidence for it. A figure that appears again and again, next to opponents' figures that are themselves consistent, is far more reliable than any single estimate from a photograph.

Childhood moves and growing up

Tate's early life involved several moves. According to his Wikipedia biography, he was born at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and raised in Germany and in Elkhart and Goshen, Indiana, before his mother moved with her children to Luton, England, in 1997 after his parents divorced. He attended school in Luton. Those moves mean his childhood growth took place across the United States and England, two countries with almost identical average heights for men of his generation, which is why the national averages below are so similar to each other.

Moments when Tate's height came up publicly

Tate's height has rarely been the subject of serious reporting in its own right. It appears mostly in two contexts: fight-related coverage, where it is printed as part of the tale of the tape, and coverage of his public appearances, where reporters describe his physical presence. Tate himself has built much of his online persona around physical fitness, combat sports and an image of dominance, and his height and fighting record are part of that image.

This article covers his height and fighting career, but any profile of Tate should note, neutrally, the wider context in which he is known. He is a highly controversial social media personality. He has faced criminal and civil proceedings in Romania, the United Kingdom and the United States over allegations including rape and human trafficking, and he has denied all of them. In July 2026, according to the Associated Press, he and Tristan were arrested in Miami by the US Marshals Service under a British extradition request; the UK Crown Prosecution Service said it was seeking to bring the brothers to Britain to face 59 charges in total. Their lawyer said they are innocent and described the arrests as politically motivated. None of these allegations has been proven in court as of this writing, and we do not comment further on them here.

Compared with the average man in the US, UK and Romania

Tate holds both American and British citizenship. He was born in Washington, D.C., spent his teenage years in Luton, England, and later lived for years in Romania. That makes three national comparisons relevant, using the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration's estimates for men born in the 1980s and 1990s.

Country (NCD-RisC estimate) Average man Tate's difference
United States, 1996 cohort 177.1 cm (5′10″) +13.4 cm
United Kingdom, 1996 cohort 177.5 cm (5′10″) +13.0 cm
Romania, 1996 cohort 174.7 cm (5′8½″) +15.8 cm

In each case Tate is roughly 13 to 16 cm (5 to 6 inches) taller than the national average. In the American height distribution, 6′3″ puts a man well above the 90th percentile, a height reached by only a small minority. In Romania the gap is slightly larger, because Romanian men in that cohort average around 3 cm shorter than American and British men.

The century-long trend data adds another angle. NCD-RisC estimates that American men born in 1896 averaged about 171.1 cm, so a 6′3″ man would have stood almost 20 cm above the average of his great-grandparents' generation. British men rose even faster over that period, from about 166.9 cm for the 1896 cohort to 177.5 cm for the 1976 cohort, and Romanian men rose by about 11 cm. Tate's height is notable against today's averages, and it would have been exceptional a century ago. To see exactly where 190.5 cm falls for a man in a given country, the height percentile calculator places any height on the national distribution.

Family background

Tate's father, Emory Tate (1958–2015), was a US Air Force staff sergeant and a chess international master, and his mother, Eileen, is English. He has a younger brother, Tristan, and a younger sister, Janine. We have not found reliable published heights for his parents, so we do not speculate about family height. What is documented is that both brothers competed in similar kickboxing weight classes, which suggests broadly similar builds.

Seeing Tate's height in context

To see Andrew Tate next to another fighter, a celebrity or yourself, use the main height comparison tool, which places figures side by side at true scale. The height difference calculator gives the exact gap between any two heights in centimeters and inches. Good comparisons are Tate next to Jake Paul, which shows the size difference behind many online fight debates, and Tate next to Dwayne Johnson, a reminder that among very large public figures 6′3″ is tall but not extreme.
