Privacy policy

No accounts

HeightComparison3D has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the tools.

Heights and settings you enter

Heights, names and other values you type into a calculator are processed in your browser. When you share a comparison, those values are encoded in the link itself (the part after the "?"), so anyone you send the link to can see them. We may store your own preferences, such as preferred units, in your browser's local storage; this never leaves your device.

Photos

Photos you add to tools such as "height from photo" are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers and are discarded when you close the page.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure performance. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies, use local storage, or fingerprint you to track you across sites. It gives us aggregate figures such as page views, referrers, country and device type.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use this data to identify visitors.

Advertising (future)

The site may show advertising in future to keep the tools free. Before any ad provider that uses cookies or personal data is enabled, we will update this policy, name the provider, and ask for consent where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states). Today no advertising cookies are set.

Children

Our growth and height tools are designed to be used by parents and carers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights and contact

Because we do not hold personal data about visitors, there is normally nothing to access or delete. If you have a privacy question, email hello@heightcomparison3d.com or see the contact page.
